Cuddy Group was appointed to prepare a 5.51 hectare easterly facing hillside site at the former Newport University campus for the development of 125 new homes.

The site comprised a central flat section where the college was located with steeply sloping grassed areas leading to residential properties on all sides.

Built in the 1950’s and 60’s the buildings  included a boiler house, fuel storage shed, engineering workshop, lecture theatre, classrooms, electricity substation and caretaker’s cottage. This central section also contained the campus car park and road.
