Water and civil engineering at Machynys
Golf Course This magnificent site is home to the first Nikklaus-designed golf
course in Wales, and features gorgeous views over Carmarthen
Bay, the Gower peninsula and water features which are a lure to
golf fans for miles around. However, the wet nature of the area
presented challenges for a proposed housing development at the
resort.
Leachate treatment plant
for Bryn Pica landfill Bryn Pica landfill site is run by Amgen Cymru and Rhondda Cynon
Taf County Borough Council, and required a new leachate treatment
plant to deal with water contaminated by passing through the
waste. Cuddy Group was appointed to design and build the plant,
calling upon its years of remediation expertise.
Sophia Gardens Redevelopment scheme The £9.4m redevelopment of Sophia Gardens, the home of
Glamorgan Cricket Club, South Wales, was completed in 2008.
Cuddy Group was involved in the early stages of the process, as
the ground was modernised and its capacity expanded.
Ospreys set for Mumbles cricket challenge The Ospreys will be looking for revenge when they take on Mumbles Cricket Club in the second charity 20/20 match between the two sides next month. [ View all ]
